Research
The Queensland Emergency Medicine Research Foundation offers a range of grants with the aim of delivering better patient outcomes in public hospitals and to develop research infrastructure within hospitals.

Funding Schemes in Brief
- Emergency Medicine Trainee Grants (EMT) – up to $20,000.
- Emergency Medicine Staff Specialist Research Grants (EMSS) – up to $50,000.
- Project Grants (PROJ) – up to $100,000 per year for three years.
- Program Grants (PROG) – up to $250,000 per year for three years.
- Research Fellowship Scheme (FELL) – up to $150,000 per year salary costs.
- Capacity Building Grants (CAPB) – up to $70,000 per year for 3 years matched funding (written evidence of matched funding must be provided in application).
- Leverage Grant Funding – Eligible Applicants who are making submissions for funding to other funding bodies, that meet the objectives of the foundation, may apply for leverage funding of up to $50,000 per annum for the term of the grant if it is awarded.
